Training & Curriculum
•25-unit major combining advanced dance technique, choreography, production, history, and interdisciplinary electives
•Required study includes Ballet Technique III, Modern Dance Technique III, Jazz Performance Skills, Salsa, Hip-Hop II, choreography, and dance production
•Electives can add theatre, voice, music, visual art, injury prevention, yoga, and Pilates
Career & Transfer Preparation
•Designed for transfer to four-year dance programs or auditions for commercial, company, and choreographic work
•Builds technical alignment, coordination, dance vocabulary, and historical and cultural understanding
Performance Experience
•Production coursework includes faculty repertoire or student choreography and connects technique training to rehearsal and performance practice
