What's The Process

Audition Process

Open admissions — no audition, portfolio, or interview required

Apply online through the Maricopa District admissions portal (free)

Production Auditions

Show auditions are held each semester for GCC theatre productions

Prepare a fully memorized 1-minute monologue

For those without a prepared monologue, a cold read may be available at audition

Bring an acting resume and headshot to the audition (no selfies)

Prepared slate: greeting, name, title of play and playwright

If cast, register for one credit of Theatre Production (THP201AA)

Anyone from the community may audition; if cast, must register for course credit
