Audition Format
•Brass applicants complete the Department of Music entrance audition using the published brass requirements
•Live on-campus auditions are encouraged so applicants can meet faculty, students, and see campus facilities
•Video auditions are accepted and evaluated on a rolling schedule tied to the next audition date
•Video recordings must be live and unedited with audio and video together
•Submit video links by 5:00 PM the Friday before the desired evaluation date
Instrument Details
•Memorization is not required
•A short sight-reading excerpt may be requested
Scholarship Consideration
•Live in-person auditions automatically include scholarship consideration
•Video auditioners may be asked for a live follow-up audition by livestream or in person for scholarship consideration
