What's The Process

Audition Process

•No audition required for admission to the BA Theatre program

•Optional scholarship audition held on campus

•Audition includes a meet and greet with department faculty and an opportunity to stay for the musical performance that evening

•Individual visits or virtual auditions available if unable to attend scheduled date

•Contact theatre@gcsu.edu or 478-445-8290 with questions

Theatre Scholarships

•Available for declared theatre majors or minors only

•Deadline to apply: March 1

•Complete the scholarship audition application form on the department website to reserve your spot

•Prepare at least one of the following (you may prepare more than one or all three):

-One monologue, 60-90 sec

-16 bars of an a cappella song

-Portfolio of production work
