Dance Audition
•Entrance requires a jazz dance audition followed by an interview.
•Applicants need intermediate-level jazz training; training in additional dance forms is an asset.
•The program page lists a minimum of five years of jazz dance training.
Video Submission
•Include barre work: plies, tendues, degages, fondue, rond de jambe and adage.
•Include jazz steps as individual exercises: center turning combination, center floor work, kicks across the floor and jumps across the floor.
•Include a short jazz or contemporary combination and a short hip hop combination.
•Performance footage up to 3 minutes is optional.
