•Liberal-arts AS curriculum combines acting, voice and articulation, movement, theatre technology and design, play analysis, theatre history, audition technique, and participation in live shows
•The 2026-2027 curriculum includes Stage Craft, Fundamentals of Acting, theatre practicum, Developing a Character, and a choice of Audition Techniques or Stage Management
Performance & Productions
•Forum Players is a student-run theatre company where students work onstage and behind the scenes across acting, technical theatre, and production organization
•The company produces several shows each year and tours the GLOW region with its annual Children's Theatre production
Professional Development
•Extracurricular workshops, masterclasses, field trips, and guest-artist residencies supplement the degree curriculum
•Forum Players travels to the Shaw Festival and Stratford Festival in Ontario for performances and professional-artist talkbacks
Facilities
•The Center for the Arts houses the 328-seat Stuart Steiner Theatre, rehearsal and dance studios, dressing rooms, a scene shop, costume shop, and lighting shop
Degree Flexibility
•The AS is part of SUNY's seamless-transfer framework, and GCC publishes Theatre transfer pathways to Brockport, Buffalo State, SUNY Geneseo, and Niagara University
