•The 120-credit Commercial Music curriculum connects songwriting, popular-music performance, music theory and history with recording, sound reinforcement, video production, social media, music business and entrepreneurship.
•Students use digital audio workstations and hands-on production projects to build a portfolio while developing skills for both the stage and the business side of music.
Professional Development
•Coursework addresses artist promotion, entertainment business, event coordination and entrepreneurial work alongside musicianship. The degree is offered on campus and online through GCU’s College of Arts and Media.
