•Repertoire selection — Ballad (select one): My One and Only Love; In a Sentimental Mood; Polka Dots and Moonbeams
•Repertoire instruments accepted: Trumpet, Trombone, Saxophone, Piano, Guitar, Bass, and Drum Set
•Drum set applicants also prepare Rolling in Rhythm from Wilcoxon’s Modern Rudimental Swing Solos; swing time/feel at quarter = 60, 120, and 240; Latin styles; listed rudiments; and traded choruses/solo choruses over a jazz standard recording
•Jazz guitar applicants also prepare major and harmonic minor scales in all 12 keys plus minor pentatonic scale in all five fretboard positions

•Jazz auditions are accompanied by a rhythm section; for recorded auditions use a backing track
