Audition Process
•An audition is required to be accepted as a Music Major
•Students must first be admitted to Frostburg State University
•Auditions can be scheduled anytime throughout the year
•Virtual auditions and video submissions accepted
•Audition on designated scholarship dates to be considered for music scholarships
•The scholarship audition simultaneously serves as the major acceptance audition
Audition Expectations
•Demonstrate ability to match single pitches and short pitch sequences
•Music theory diagnostic exam administered before the audition
•Students may receive conditional major standing
