Monologues
ONE CONTEMPORARY MONOLOGUE, 1-2 min
•Dramatic or comic monologue from a published play or a recent forensics competition piece
•Present in your natural voice without dialects
•Alternatively, submit a recent pre-recorded monologue or scene that primarily features you
•A secondary, contrasting contemporary monologue may be requested by faculty
TECHNICAL THEATRE OPTION
•Students interested in technical theatre or theatrical design submit a portfolio instead
•May include drawings, sketches, photos, diagrams, or documents representing skills in scenery, construction, painting, lighting, costumes, props, publicity, or makeup design
•May also include prompt books, production records, or paperwork
•Portfolio may be in the form of a book, CD, DVD, and/or website
