•Must be admitted to the university before auditioning
•Register for an audition slot via the School of Music Audition Form
Program Structure
•All music majors begin as Music as a Liberal Art (the BA) until officially admitted to a Bachelor of Music option
•A broad liberal-arts music degree well suited to a second major, minor, or graduate preparation
Placement
•Admitted students take a music theory and aural-skills diagnostic at the audition — for course placement only, not admission
