•Portfolio examples to show at the interview may include sketches, renderings, art projects, drafting, photographs of production work, or anything that demonstrates design and/or technological abilities

•Portfolio materials may be presented in portfolio format, but an organized collection is acceptable

Letters of Recommendation (2)

•Two recommendation letters from teachers, employment supervisors, or theatre professionals who can best speak to your abilities and potential

•Students not accepted may re-interview one additional time

•Cannot interview after accumulating 60+ credit hours

Scholarship Info

Talent-Based Scholarships

•Gary C. Eckhart Memorial Scholarship for Scenic Design is designated for a junior or rising senior pursuing the BFA in Theatrical Production and Design (Scene Design Concentration) with a 3.0 GPA or higher

•Endowment must reach $20,000 by February 2031 before annual awards are distributed
