Training
•Pre-professional BFA Musical Theatre training combines four years of weekly private voice lessons with acting, dance, music theory, and piano coursework
•Collaborative instruction draws on both the Department of Theatre and Dance and the School of Music
•Students train in jazz, tap, contemporary dance, Shakespeare, scene study, Meisner, devising, and musical-theatre styles
Performance & Productions
•Students perform in at least one fully staged musical and three plays each season, with additional opportunities in dance concerts, opera productions, and student-directed work
•Concert musicals, choirs, a cappella groups, and improvisation expand performance experience across the four-year curriculum
Professional Development
•Small class sizes and faculty mentorship support individualized growth while the conservatory-style curriculum prepares students for professional auditions and graduate study

•Rockefeller Arts Center provides a 1,100-seat concert hall, proscenium and black-box theatres, a dedicated dance theatre, studios, and production spaces
