Training
•Liberal arts theatre curriculum includes script analysis, stagecraft, theatre history, acting, directing, production design, dramatic literature and a senior practicum.
•Small theatre classes, typically 5-15 students, support close faculty mentoring.
Performance & Productions
•Franklin produces four shows each year, and students can perform, direct, design and contribute from their first year.
•Productions take place in Theatre Margot in the Johnson Center for Fine Arts.
Degree Flexibility
•The theatre major includes related art and music coursework and supports minors or second majors.
