Professional Development
•Bullet: Official apprentice program for the local IATSE chapter; students may begin working with the union as early as their second semester
•Bullet: Second-year internships may include Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena, Metropolitan Park, the Times-Union Performing Arts Center, or the Florida Theatre
•Bullet: Graduates may pursue IATSE membership examination and stagehand/specialist pathways in carpentry, electrics, audio, properties, rigging, projection, or technical direction
Facilities
•Bullet: Main proscenium theatre with 500 seats plus a studio theatre for smaller productions
•Bullet: Wilson Center productions give students backstage exposure alongside student and professional artists
