Training
•Bullet: The BFA pairs ballet, modern, and jazz technique with choreography and theoretical studies, while physical and anatomical practices support technical proficiency and creative development.
•Bullet: Master classes, guest residencies, and repertory connect students with professionals; previous guests include Carolyn Dorfman Dance, Jon Lehrer Dance Company, Melissa Rector, RAKR Dance, and Gregory Dolbashian.
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Students perform from the first semester in concerts, showcases, and stage productions.
•Bullet: Two annual main productions have distinct formats: Fall into Dance presents experimental faculty and guest choreography, while the Spring Dance Concert features historical ballet plus faculty and guest works.
•Bullet: Student choreographers present work in the Emerging Artists Showcase and BFA Concert.
•Bullet: FSC dancers have appeared at Your Move: NJ Modern Dance Festival, the American College Dance Association Southeast Festival, and Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival.
