Audition Process
•Auditions for Fall 2026 admission are complete; dates and information for Spring 2027 and Fall 2027 will be posted by August 28, 2026
•Requirements reflect the most recent (2025-2026) audition cycle
•Submit prescreen videos via Acceptd
•Videos are reviewed by the area head; if approved, applicants are invited to the live audition
•Confirmation email sent no later than the week before the audition date
•Avoid making travel arrangements until confirmation is received
•Applicants complete a short interview about career goals and musical experience as part of the audition
Audition Expectations
•On-campus audition on the selected date
•Out-of-state and international applicants may submit recorded auditions and participate in a Zoom interview with the area head
Decisions
•Acceptance/non-acceptance letters sent via email approximately 2 weeks after each audition
•Admission requires acceptance by both the Bower School of Music and FGCU Admissions
•If denied, may reapply the following semester; denied twice = no longer eligible
