One contemporary selection and one Golden Age selection, from two different eras

May use an accompaniment track or live pianist for the pre-screen video; no unaccompanied videos accepted

Monologues

One Memorized Monologue (Required)

One-minute monologue from a published play

Audition Requirements

Songs

Prepare three song cuts: two from differing eras of musical theatre—one contemporary and one Golden Age—and one pop/rock song cut

No accompaniment track is allowed at the live audition

A pianist is provided; applicants may bring their own pianist

Bring legible sheet music for every selection

Perform all songs from memory

Monologues

Prepare two contrasting monologues, no longer than two minutes total

Choose selections that demonstrate your strengths and range as an actor

Perform both from memory
