•Bullet: The Orchestral concentration is limited to a small number of conductors and develops orchestral score knowledge, rehearsal technique, interpretation, and musical leadership.
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Students receive podium time with the FIU Symphony Orchestra throughout the year and assist faculty and visiting conductors on orchestral and operatic productions.
Professional Development
•Bullet: Recent visiting conductors named by FIU include James Judd, David Effron, José Serebrier, Neal Varon, Eduardo Marturet, and Giancarlo Guerrero.
