Training
•Complete at least 24 credits including music theory or applied composition, music appreciation, applied study, and ensemble work
•Complete nine credits of applied music with at least six credits in one emphasis area
•Choose from voice, keyboard, orchestral instruments, guitar or electric bass, harp, and composition
Performance
•Earn four credits through ensembles such as Concert-Chorale, Symphonic Band, Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, or University Singers
•Present a solo recital of at least 30 minutes during the final semester
