•Bachelor of Music Education is a collaborative degree between the Department of Music and the College of Education
•Choral Track includes choral conducting, vocal pedagogy, choral materials and methods, elementary methods, and private applied lessons
•Coursework combines music theory, sight-singing and ear-training, conducting, professional education, and P-12 internship preparation
Performance & Productions
•Choral music education majors attend and perform at the biennial Christian College Choral Festival
•Choral students have performance opportunities throughout Alabama and beyond
•Additional ensemble opportunities include Faulkner Singers

•NAfME student chapter and Alabama Music Educators Association conference opportunities
•Program prepares students for a PreK-12 music teaching-certification pathway
Degree Flexibility
•Students can focus on choral music, instrumental music, or both
