-Option A: One pre-1970 + one post-1970 song (contrasting styles)

-One contemporary monologue (written after 1950)
-One classical monologue (written before 1950, heightened language)

-Dance/movement video required

Dance
DANCE/MOVEMENT CALL

•BFA Musical Theatre students will be in a variety of dance classes every semester and placed in a dance level that will challenge and strengthen their ability

Must apply and be accepted to FAU before accepting an offer into the BFA track
What's The Process
PRESCREEN:
•Submissions accepted beginning September 5, 2025
•Deadline to submit MTCP: January 5, 2026
•Callback invitations sent no later than January 20, 2026
LIVE AUDITION:
•On-Campus Auditions: February 21–22, 2026
•In person auditions highly recommended — tour the department, see shows, meet students and faculty
•Acceptance notifications released March 7, 2026
•Offer remains viable until May 1; alternates called after
RECRUITING EVENTS:
•FAU representatives attend Florida Theatre Conference (FTC), Moonifieds, CAP, Thespians, and other events
