•BFA in Design and Technology offers an integral, creative, and inclusive space for students looking to pursue a career in design, stage technology, and stage management
•Curriculum spans six areas of production: technical direction, stage management, scenic, costume, and lighting design and technology
Training
•Software training in Photoshop, Procreate, Canva, AutoCAD, and Vectorworks
•Shop skills including scenic painting and construction, props crafting, sewing, pattern making, draping, dyeing, wig styling, model building, light plot design, light board and sound board operation, rigging, and production management

Performance & Productions
•Design and manage the departmental season, Summer Rep productions, and professional resident theatre company productions
•Theatre Lab professional resident theatre company provides opportunities to work alongside professional artists
•Since 2015, Theatre Lab has produced twenty full productions, eight world premieres, and provided over 80 FAU students with paid internships

•Over 36 recent graduates employed on professional contracts onstage and backstage across regional theatre, film, and television
