•Bullet: Essential Theatre Scholarship supports freshmen, transfers, and current students who declare theatre, demonstrate artistry, and participate in Essential Theatre
•Bullet: Camille Olivia Hanks Cosby Theatre Program Scholarship supports incoming freshmen or current theatre majors with a minimum 2.5 GPA
•Bullet: T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh Endowed Theatre Scholarship supports Black African-descended sophomore, junior, or senior theatre majors and requires a statement of unmet financial need plus an essay on positive Black African images in media/entertainment
Scholarship Portfolio Review
•Bullet: Published technical-theatre scholarship instructions require arranging a conference/interview with the Scholarship Committee
•Bullet: Present a portfolio and resume of backstage work
•Bullet: Out-of-town applicants may arrange to send slides, photos, or an electronic portfolio
Eligibility
•Bullet: Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA and full-time enrollment (12+ hours)
•Bullet: Active member of Essential Theatre with demonstrated artistry and commitment beyond classroom assignments
•Bullet: Scholarship recipients are expected to accept assigned performance, backstage, and front-of-house roles and volunteer for Essential Theatre activities
•Bullet: Scholars must maintain 3.0 GPA in major courses and 2.5 cumulative GPA
