PORTFOLIO (required)
•Photographs, slides, and/or drawings of productions worked on
•Prompt-scripts for stage managers
•Examples of related skills: sewing, woodworking, drawing, etc.
INTERVIEW (required)
•All prospective students interview with faculty to assess skills and interests

•Limited freshman admission — approximately 40 first-year students accepted into the department

•Schedule portfolio review through UE Theatre registration portal
•Both in-person and virtual reviews available

What's The Process
PORTFOLIO REVIEW & INTERVIEW
•Present portfolio of work examples to faculty
•Designers and technicians should show production photographs, slides, and/or drawings
•Interview with members of the faculty in an informal manner
SCHEDULING
•In-person reviews held on campus and at regional locations
•Virtual reviews available
•Faculty travel to Texas, Colorado, Georgia, New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Seattle
