What's The Process

Audition Process

In-person auditions held on campus and at regional locations

Virtual auditions available

Students may combine an audition and portfolio review depending on interests

Performers should provide a headshot/resume and prepare a contemporary monologue, a 20-30 line Shakespeare passage, and one verse from a Broadway musical

Portfolio-focused students should present work examples such as photographs, prompt-scripts, slides, drawings, or completed projects

Interview with members of the faculty in an informal manner

Must demonstrate highest academic caliber and demonstrated talent

Must exhibit interest and proficiency in several areas of theatre
