Admission
•Apply to Evangel University via Common App or the Evangel application portal
•Application is free
•An audition in the primary area of study is required to be admitted as a music major (voice, keyboard, or instrumental)
Placement
•Admitted students take a music theory placement exam at orientation — for course placement only, not admission
Scholarship Deadlines
•Early scholarship submission deadline: November 15
•All auditions must be held or submitted by March 1
Program Details
•Bachelor of Science in Music with Emphasis in Commercial Music
•41-42 credits of music, 18 credits of commercial-music courses, and 12 credits of non-music electives
•Coursework in modern recording techniques, electronic music, survey of music business, and songwriting/commercial arranging
