TWO VOCAL SELECTIONS

•One selection from traditional vocal literature (art song or aria)

•Second selection of student's choosing in a contrasting style (Broadway musical, gospel, contemporary worship, etc.)

•Recorded accompaniments are acceptable

•Accompanist may be provided at a live audition (must be requested at least two weeks prior)

Sight Reading

•Sight-reading exercise included in the audition for music majors

•Music Fine Arts Scholarship audition required for scholarship consideration (not for program admission)

•Live auditions preferred, but video recordings also accepted

•Video recordings should include examples of vocal performance (up to 15 minutes total)

•Auditions held during EU Music Preview events
