Vocal Audition
•Prepare two songs from standard vocal repertoire, one of which may be a musical theatre selection
•Sight-read a short excerpt similar to all-state audition exercises
•Bring three letters of reference (e.g., from teachers) and a copy of your official high school transcript
•Complete a theory diagnostic assessment
Teaching Component
•Choral music education prepares you to teach K-12 with a focus on choral and vocal music
•Discuss your interest in teaching with the music education faculty
Process
•Apply for ENMU admission first, then schedule your audition by calling 575.562.2377 or using the online audition form
•Live, in-person audition on campus, by appointment
