•Prepares students to teach speech, theatre, debate, forensics, and radio/television in grades 6-12
•Part of an award-winning theatre department within the School of Visual + Performing Arts
•Students can elect emphasis in theatre, forensics, or both

•Accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP)
•Approved by the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE)
Training
•Joint program with the School of Leadership, Middle and Secondary Teacher Education
•Access to department productions for hands-on experience
