•Music Department classrooms are equipped with audio and video technology, 14 practice rooms with pianos and sound systems, two piano labs, a large instrumental rehearsal hall, a choral rehearsal room, and three concert venues.
•The Music Commons library holds more than 10,000 items of performance-oriented music scores, sound recordings, and videos, with PC-based listening stations and practice facilities.
•Five Areas of Emphasis let students concentrate in Vocal, Instrumental Music, Keyboard, Commercial Music, or General Music study.
Performance & Productions
•Ensembles include orchestra, concert band, jazz band, small ensembles, chorale, concert choir, community choir, and women's choir — plus the Applied Music program for advanced performance study.
•Students perform at the Center for the Arts in the Marsee Auditorium, Campus Theatre, and Robert Haag Recital Hall, which hosts nationally and internationally acclaimed artists for master classes and concerts.
•Faculty are accomplished working professionals in the Los Angeles music scene.
