Training
•Bullet: El Camino's Dance AA is supported by three dance studios with Marley flooring, fixed wall ballet barres, free-standing barres, Pilates reformers, and dance-conditioning equipment.
•Bullet: Coursework spans ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip-hop, Latin social, ballroom, African, Mexican, and world dance styles, giving students a broad technical foundation.
•Bullet: Faculty members are working dance professionals in the Los Angeles area, including instructors with MFAs from UC Irvine and other regional programs.
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Formal performances and informal showings throughout the year give students opportunities to perform, choreograph, and contribute to production crews.
•Bullet: Students collaborate with professional adjunct instructors on live productions and build production knowledge through costuming and lighting work.
•Bullet: The department's Center for the Arts setting and proximity to Los Angeles and Hollywood connect dance study with regional performance, film, theatre, and commercial-dance opportunities.
