•BFA Production & Design centers technical theatre and design training inside a small liberal arts theatre department
•Catalog coursework includes stagecraft, stage lighting, costume construction, computer-aided drafting and 3D design, script analysis, stage management, theatrical design, and play directing
•BFA students complete Barter Observationship, senior project, and professional theatre experience requirements
Performance & Productions
•Barter Theatre partnership gives students access to professional artists, internships, productions, talkbacks, rehearsal observation, masterclasses, and mentorships
Professional Development
•Department alumni outcomes include C.J. Freeman continuing to the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale and production/design graduates pursuing internships and regional theatre work
