Training
•BA Dance is designed for students pursuing a professional or educational vocation in dance
•Catalog requirements include dance core study, dance repertory, dance composition, applied anatomy and kinesiology, and at least 15 credits of dance technique
•Students work inside the Theatre, Music and Dance department, connecting dance study with theatre practicum and professional theatre experience
Performance & Productions
•The theatre program's Barter Theatre partnership gives students access to professional artists, internships, productions, talkbacks, rehearsal observation, masterclasses, workshops, and mentorships
Professional Development
•Department alumni career destinations include Barter Theatre, Disney World, Portland Playhouse, Rainbow Comedy Playhouse, and other stage organizations around the country
