CURRICULUM

Core curriculum includes acting, directing, dramaturgy, design and production, script analysis, stage management, theatre history and literature, and voice articulation
Upper-level students select courses in their areas of interest: directing/dramaturgy, acting/movement, or theatre management

PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES

BA students interested in acting are encouraged to audition for all roles in productions
All BA students participate in production assignments, technical crews, and stage management

STUDENT LIFE

Student organizations include East Carolina Theatre Association, Fifth Street Players, SWISH Improv, Reader's Theatre, and special projects

CAREER PATHS

Graduates pursue graduate study or careers in theatre, film, television, literary/casting agencies, stage and screen writing, theatre management, education, directing, marketing, and communication-related fields
