TRAINING
•Core curriculum includes acting, directing, dramaturgy, design and production, script analysis, stage management, theatre history and literature, and voice articulation
•Upper-level students select courses in their areas of interest: directing/dramaturgy, acting/movement, or theatre management
PERFORMANCE & PRODUCTIONS
•BA students interested in acting are encouraged to audition for all roles in productions
•All BA students participate in production assignments, technical crews, and stage management

•Sandra Bullock — Academy Award-winning actress (The Blind Side, Gravity), earned BFA in Drama from ECU in 1987
•Kevin Williamson — screenwriter and creator of Scream franchise and Dawson's Creek, BFA in Theatre Arts from ECU
