Training
•EWU's 67-credit BA combines movement and voice, acting, directing, stage costume, and theatre design and technology coursework.
•The curriculum includes Acting I, II, and III; Acting: The Profession; and a sequence in directing.
Performance & Productions
•Theatre majors participate in EWU's public performance program and complete Theatre Experience coursework across multiple quarters.
•Productions are presented in the University Theatre, a dedicated facility that opened in 1972.
Professional Development
•Students can pursue field experience in theatre and choose electives such as screenplay analysis, stage lighting design, special skills for actors, or scene design.
•The degree culminates in a senior thesis project.
