Admission

Demonstrate basic competencies in reading music before the first-year music theory sequence

Minimum grade of C required in all music courses

Eligibility

World language requirement: two years of a single high school world language or one year of college-level

Technology Requirement

Students must have access to a MacBook or Windows laptop for required audio software

Mac: OS 11.0 or later, 8+ GB RAM; Windows: 10 version 22H2 or later (not 11S), 8+ GB RAM

Program Requirements

Senior capstone project required for graduation

Applicants may showcase skills such as electronic music performance, audio production, sound design, live looping, sampling, synthesis, and composition

Optional Scholarship Audition

Students who play an instrument may also audition for a talent scholarship and join ensembles
