In-Person Audition
•Ballet, modern/contemporary, and jazz components
•One-minute solo in any dance genre performed for faculty immediately after the technical portion
•Conservative dance attire requested
•Bring ballet slippers, jazz shoes, and access to bare feet for modern
Video Audition
•State your name, intended major/minor, and class standing
•Ballet barre exercises: plies, tendus, degages, rond de jambe a terre, frappe, adagio at barre, and grand battements
•Ballet center exercises: adagio, one pirouette combination, one small jump combination, and one grande allegro
•One-minute solo in any dance genre
