•Bullet: 18-credit-hour Music Minor combining 4 credit hours of applied study, 8 credit hours of music theory (MUS 1501/1502 Comprehensive Musicianship I & II), 3 credit hours of music history (MUS 3553G Introduction to Western Musical Masterworks), and 3 elective credit hours in music
•Bullet: Minors participate in School of Music ensembles and complete four semesters of applied lessons alongside the same theory/history coursework music majors take
•Bullet: Admission generally requires a short audition for a School of Music faculty member in the student's instrument or voice; interested students contact the studio instructor for their instrument/voice or the department chair for details
