Prepare one theatrical monologue that contrasts in tone with the musical selection

Audition Expectations

Live in-person audition on the ETBU campus for Department of Music and Theatre Arts admission

Prepare the musical theatre selection and contrasting monologue listed above

Theatre auditions may be scheduled during Tiger Day, Preview Day, or an individual campus visit

The audition also serves as application for a theatre arts scholarship if available

Theatre Arts Scholarship

Available to students who successfully audition for the program

Must be a declared Theatre Arts major

Must participate in all departmental productions each semester

Must attend all scheduled department meetings

Must fulfill professional expectations throughout the academic year

Scholarships not awarded after students have matriculated at ETBU
