Practical, professional training for production and technical roles across theatre, TV, film, and events
Full immersion in production work from the first year, with hands-on experience on student shows
Specialise from second year in one of three pathways: Production Arts (construction, scenic painting, costume), Technical Production (stage and production management), or Technical Theatre (lighting, sound, multimedia)
Professional industry placements during your studies
Facilities
Taught at the Loughton Campus, a ten-minute walk from Debden Underground and 30 minutes from central London
Unit Four (1.5 million GBP) houses a large workshop, paint shop, prop shop, and teaching spaces, and is home to the production and stage management department
Students train and crew productions in the on-site Corbett Theatre
Your Future
Alumni have worked at the National Theatre, RSC, Royal Opera House, Donmar Warehouse, Royal Court, and Northern Ballet
Graduates have also worked at the BBC, on Game of Thrones, at international theatres in Dubai and China, and on tours and at theme parks
