Repertoire List

Prepare the selections and technique listed for your primary instrument in Duquesne’s undergraduate music-major audition guidelines

Portfolio

Audition Portfolio: include unedited video recordings meeting the primary-instrument requirements

Audition Portfolio: compile public media links into one document and upload it through the applicant portal at least one week before the audition

Supplemental compositions, recordings, production work, or other musical media may be included

Two-Part Music Review

Faculty review the required Audition Portfolio before the scheduled live audition

Complete a primary-instrument audition and a conversational Music Technology degree interview, online or on campus

The online musicianship exam is for course placement

Music Scholarships

Fully admitted music majors automatically receive an Audition Award and are considered for Enhancement Awards

The Chancellor Award can cover full tuition for up to eight consecutive semesters
