•Apply and be accepted to Drake University before Music program admission can be considered
•Complete the music audition registration form
•In-person auditions are preferred when possible; recorded submissions may be submitted through Acceptd
•Acceptd lists a $35 portal fee for recorded music audition submissions
•Drake has posted 2026 and 2027 music audition dates as TBA
•Current music audition page says audition videos are due in February 2027, with the exact date TBA
•The music audition serves as both the department entrance audition and the Fine Arts Scholarship audition
Business Studies
•Program combines BM music training with the Zimpleman College of Business minor in Business, including marketing and retailing concentration coursework
•Music Business majors complete an internship before graduation
