Audition Process
•No pre-screening process; submitted materials or the live audition are the audition
•Musical Theatre auditions include acting, singing, and dance
•On-campus auditions and National Unified Theatre Auditions are offered when the cycle schedule is published
•Current theatre audition dates are not yet published; confirm the active schedule through Drake Theatre or the audition portal
Audition Expectations
•In-person auditions are strongly encouraged when possible
•On-campus auditions take place at Harmon Fine Arts Center with an accompanist provided
•Chicago Unifieds do not provide a piano accompanist
•Virtual submissions are accepted through Drake's free audition portal or Acceptd
•Acceptd allows either one continuous video or three separate videos demonstrating acting, singing, and dance
•Total uploaded Acceptd audition package should not exceed 10 minutes
