Training
•Approximately 200 students participate in the department, with small classes and one-on-one instruction.

•The broad emphasis supports students who want flexibility across performance, academic music, and other university interests.
Performance & Productions
•Vocal options include Collegiate Chorale, Doane Choir, and the competitive Jazz Unlimited vocal jazz ensemble.
•Instrumental options include Concert Band, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and Tiger Pep Band.
•Major ensembles tour regionally and nationally, with periodic international travel.
