These requirements are from the Fall 2026 entry cycle. Fall 2027 requirements are typically posted between August and October and usually change only slightly — confirm on the official source before submitting.

Bring movement clothes for the Musical Theatre Jazz movement class

Transfer Pathway

Transfer applicants to the BA Theatre Performance track can use Dean transfer agreements or the Dean Transfer Guarantee, with eligible credits evaluated after admission. Theatre transfer applicants still complete the admission audition and submit the performing-arts photo/resume materials.

What's The Process

Audition Process

Required audition or review follows submission of the Dean admission application

In-person auditions are held at the Dr. Paula M. Rooney Student Center in Franklin, MA

Audition Expectations

Performance BA applicants prepare two monologues, no more than one minute each

Prepare two 32-bar musical theatre cuts and bring your own sheet music

Movement class follows the acting and vocal sections

Decisions

Faculty evaluation is reviewed with other application materials

Results are not given on audition day

Recognizes outstanding achievement in Theatre

Reserved for candidates applying directly to Dance or Theatre programs

Award may be revised if student changes majors

Early Action Scholarship

$2,000 award for applications submitted by December 1

Available to both first-year and transfer students

Merit Scholarships

Students are reviewed as part of the college application process
