•Majors complete backstage work on at least 2 department productions (minimum 50 hours per show)
•At least one assignment must be in stage management
•At least one must be completed by the end of junior year

SLOAN PERFORMING ARTS SCHOLARSHIP
•$30,000 per year, renewable for four years
•Awarded to two students in each first-year class
•Requires Arts Portfolio Interest Form and portfolio of work in dance, music, or theatre
•Portfolio due by application plan deadline
•Recipients are not required to major in dance, music, or theatre
RUPERT T. BARBER SCHOLARSHIP
•$10,000 per year, renewable for remaining three years
•Awarded to one first-year student demonstrating exceptional talent and passion for theatre
•Recipients must maintain minimum GPA, make expected degree progress, and remain actively engaged in theatre
•Recipients are not required to declare a theatre major
•Not currently available — will resume for Class of 2033
