Performance & Productions
•Four main productions per year — two mainstage in the 600-seat Duke Family Performance Hall and two in the intimate Barber Theatre
•Additional performance opportunities include the One Acts (spring) and the Summit New Play Festival
•Award-winning productions recognized by the Metrolina Theatre Association and Creative Loafing magazine
Facilities
•Three unique theatre spaces with modern lighting and advanced sound systems
Degree Flexibility
•Majors complete backstage work on at least 2 department productions (minimum 50 hours per show)
•At least one assignment must be in stage management
•At least one must be completed by the end of junior year
