•Bullet: Performance-track coursework layers Acting for the Camera and Acting Period Styles onto the full Theatre core, including Auditioning and Tech Interviews, Acting for the Stage, Directing I and II, Stage Combat, History of Theatre, and three Production Practicum courses
Performance & Productions
•Bullet: Performance-track students may audition for DWU theatre productions; auditions for every department production are open to all full-time and part-time DWU students, plus faculty, staff, and community members, with casting decided by each show's director
Facilities
•Bullet: Rehearse and perform in the DWU Theatre, a $1.2 million, 5,000-square-foot black box facility that opened in 2017 with a scene shop, dressing rooms, and green room, and step onto the 1,200-seat Ron and Sheilah Gates Auditorium stage at the Mitchell Performing Arts Center
